One Button Dash (GMTK 2020)

You have 1 button to try and control your character. You can run and jump but you'll have to figure out the best way to do both with a single button. If you feel daring you can even go for a higher score but changing your controls temporarily (either reversing them or changing speed and jump).

If you collect the star you will get 5 points and one of the below Random Effects:

• Reversed controls - Hold space to Jump and release to Run
• Boosted movement - Increased jump height and run speed
• No effect

Known bugs:

• You may find your character automatically running without you pressing anything when starting Level 3
